I love a good healthy, fresh meal and my 2012 resolution is to be a good cook. Are creatives better in the kitchen? Are colours, tastes and experimenting more important to us that a boring banker’s housewife? I think so. Food should be a glorious, loving exchange of love and passion!
I made a spinach, rocket, red onion, green beans and mangetout salad with basel, lemonjuice, mustard, olive oil and sunflower seeds to accompany the main course: cinnamon and ginger chicken with breaburn apple and tenderstem chili broccoli.
For dessert we had chocolate brownie and macaroons from Laduree (thanks Thomas!)
I was so hungover… from a lesbian warehouse rave the night before… but after a few glasses of wine and warm conversation I felt tip top top!
Guests for my first dinner was the lovely bunch of friends (click to see their amazing work) : Daniel Sannwald, Brett Lloyd, Katja Mayer, Martins Strauneck and my dear Shu Lea Cheang! <3
